The Virgin Islands March for Jesus will take place on St. Croix on May 23, with organizers calling on Christians across denominations to come together publicly in a show of unity centered on Jesus Christ.
The event will be held under the theme “Jesus Christ, Our Only Hope,” with the message “In Jesus We Trust” featured in promotional material. The march is scheduled to begin at the end of Constitution Hill and proceed to Island Center.
Harrella Goodwin, part of the organizing team, said the purpose of the event is to bring Christians together beyond denominational differences.
“We want to break denominational barriers and accept people for who they are in Christ. We may have different beliefs, but our main belief is Jesus Christ. So we tear down the walls of division and unite together as one in Christ Jesus," she told The Consortium.
Ms. Goodwin, who is also a gospel recording artist, said the march is intended to be a public expression of faith and unity. “If the world can come together, we as Christians can come together — magnifying and celebrating Him in the streets. Bring out your banners, bring out your placards, and let everyone know that you believe in Jesus,” she stated.
T-shirts for the march are available for $20. Organizers are asking participants to place orders before the May 10, 2026 cutoff date.
